“ In Chi town for my kids birthday. Just rolled into town and wanted lunch on a rainy day, and we wanted a place near our hotel. This place looked fun and fit the bill. Solid meal and experience. Bar/restaurant atmosphere. Lively, fun. TV's at every booth and tables in the middle can see them all. It was a Sunday, so each had a football game. We ordered some Mozz Sticks to start and they were good, not great bar food. For mains, my 15 year old had a plain burger (boring), my wife and I had the O'Toole's original burger. Simple burger with lettuce and onions. They have other, more adventurous burgers. My other kid had the turkey club. All were really yummy, and I can say the burger was really good. Add a couple of beers and sodas and you have a great experience. Service was superb. Go. Here. ”

“ Timothy O'Toole's Pub is a great place to eat or drink at. We were staying across the street and the EMC2. We actually went there a few times on the trip. It can be very busy at times, which is not a surprise. They have a lot of TVs and is a great place to watch sporting events. For starters, they have a great beer menu. I had a few different ones and was pleased. They actually had some contest that if you drank a dozen with the holiday theme you could get a t-shirt. On one visit we had the nachos with guacamole. These were definitely above average. They were full of cheese and beans. They were heated well so the cheese really cooked well and the chips were nice and warm, then the guacamole was really good. Another time we just had the chips and guacamole and that was very good also. Definitely worth a visit. ”

“ I have a few reviews for Timothy O'Tooles as it's one of my must stops when I'm in Chicago. For this review, I just wanted to highlight the Bears Bus they run for the home games. I was hosting my brother for a trip to Chicago and he was going to the game. You can go online on their Website and pay your $10 fee which includes bus transportation from the bar to the game and from the game back to the bar. It also includes "road pops" to enjoy during the trip. The day we were there, they ran four trips to the game. When you buy your ticket online, it says you will receive a receipt, but we did not get that. It's not a problem as when you walk in the bar somewhere a bit more than an hour before game time they will have a list of names and give you a wristband so you can hop on one of the school buses. The day we were there the game started at noon and the buses left around 11 o'clock. The bar had been open for a while when we arrived at 11. Afterwards, they pick you up a few blocks away from the stadium and bring you back to the bar. It's a great way to get to the game very inexpensively. ”

“ The perfect spot before the bears game to pregame and then take the shuttle over! They have roadies on the shuttle and you can order a drink to go! We got the boneless wings, these were good! I got a bloody to drink and this was great. Service was super speedy and I love the vibes of everyone in their bears apparel! ”

“ Fun place to eat and watch games! Went on a Saturday night and was able to easily get a high top table. All areas have good views of different screens and they do well alternating games so you can see multiple things at once. No audio when I went, but maybe for local/bigger games. They played great music instead-early/mid 2000s party type, so it hit my age well and felt energetic, but the place isn't packed out. Little Timmy burger was good, though fried were a bit plain. Perfect consistency on the fries, and a little salt/pepper/ketchup fixed the lack of seasoning. Menu is diverse and well priced, including drinks. I would come back for the Big Timmy challenge to get a shirt! ”

“ Timothy O'Toole's has quickly become my go-to spot for watching sports! This massive downstairs bar is packed with TVs, making it perfect for catching every game. Even if you're trying to watch an out of market team, they can put that game on upon request! While bar seats can be tough to snag since it's always buzzing, I've consistently been able to get a table when I'm with friends. Beyond the atmosphere, the food is surprisingly great for a sports bar! I've tried a few items including the burgers and fries from the menu, and the chicken Caesar salad was a standout--perfect for when you want something lighter while drinking but still delicious. If you're in the River North or Streeterville area and looking for a lively place with good food and a great sports vibe, Timothy O'Toole's is definitely worth checking out! ”

“ Man o man this was quite the pleasant surprise! We were just walking around the area from our hotel, in search of something that sounded good, and my buddy thought a cold beer would go down nice, and we ran across this place. Hot damn!! I know this place was featured on Food vs. Man, but what a GEM of a place! Not knowing what to expect, we walked down the stairs and instantly loved the vibe and layout here. It seems as though everything on the menu was calling my name, but was really craving a good Old Fashioned and a pub burger of sorts. I ordered the Garlic Cheddar with Tots, and about did an Irish jig right then & there at my table. It was pure perfection! My buddy had same, but this was not our only trip here. I think we hit this place up a total of three times. I came back and had the Speakeasy with Fries, and later during the week I had the Patty Melt w/ more ToTs. I can attest to all of them- Grubbin' meals! Our service was always prompt and our servers were chatty and liked to get to know ya. 1000% recommend this fine establishment!
